The beechwood is genuinely smooth, no rough edges anywhere, which I was worried about with a cheaper cot. My daughter slept through the night in it from day one, and the mattress that came with it fits snugly with no gaps. Feels solid enough to last through a second kid.
The solid beechwood frame feels incredibly sturdy, and the natural mattress is firm yet comfortable. Assembly took me about twenty minutes with no issues, and it's nice knowing everything is FSC-certified. Our little one sleeps great in it.
Assembly took me nearly an hour since the instructions are mostly diagrams, but once it was up the 120x60 size fit our small nursery perfectly. The FSC-certified beechwood has a lovely smooth finish and the included natural mattress saved me a separate purchase.
