Compare Mokee's Seagrass and Woolnest fitted sheet value packs: basket size, fabric feel, and which set suits your Moses basket.
Quick answer
Choose the Seagrass value pack if you own a Natural Seagrass Moses Basket (69x35 cm); choose the Woolnest value pack for a Woolnest Moses Basket (70x35 cm). Both packs give you three fitted sheets at a lower price than buying singles, but the one-centimetre length difference means they are not interchangeable.
Why the one-centimetre difference matters
A Moses basket sheet needs to hug the mattress without bunching. The Seagrass sheets are cut for a 69x35 cm mattress, while the Woolnest sheets fit a 70x35 cm mattress. That extra centimetre on the Woolnest may not sound like much, but a sheet that is slightly too long can wrinkle under a newborn, and one that is too short can pull loose at the corners. Always match the sheet to your basket's stated mattress size rather than assuming they are universal.
Fabric and design choices
The Seagrass pack comes in a Chevron Grey print, while the Woolnest pack is available in plain White or Chevron Grey. Both are made from soft fabrics designed to be gentle on a baby's skin, and both use an elastic band to keep the sheet in place. If you prefer a calm, neutral nursery, white is the obvious pick; if you want a subtle pattern that hides small marks, chevron grey works harder. The Little Forest single sheet (sold separately) offers a third option if you want a motif, but it is not part of a value pack.
The real trade-off: price vs. flexibility
The Seagrass pack is the cheaper of the two value packs at USD 25.20 (compared with USD 42.00), while the Woolnest packs are USD 30.24 for Chevron Grey and USD 31.08 for White (both compared with USD 42.00). That makes the Seagrass pack the budget-friendly choice if it fits your basket. However, the Woolnest packs give you a colour choice (white or grey) and fit the slightly longer Woolnest basket. Neither pack includes a mattress or liner, so factor those in if you are starting from scratch.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Fit: Seagrass sheets fit 69x35 cm; Woolnest sheets fit 70x35 cm. Measure your basket's mattress before buying. If your basket is not one of these two, buy a single sheet that matches your size instead of a value pack.
- Colour range: Seagrass pack comes only in Chevron Grey. Woolnest pack comes in White or Chevron Grey. If you need white sheets, the Woolnest pack is your only value-pack option.
- Price per sheet: Seagrass pack is USD 25.20 for three; Woolnest packs are USD 30.24 (grey) or USD 31.08 (white) for three. The Seagrass pack saves you about USD 5 compared with the Woolnest grey pack, but only if it fits.
Product facts
- Value Pack | 3 Seagrass Fitted Sheets - Chevron Grey: Suitable for the Natural Seagrass Moses Basket (69x35 cm) and contains three fitted sheets in Chevron Grey. This is the only pack sized for the 69 cm Seagrass basket, so it is the correct choice if that is your basket.
Value Pack | 3 Seagrass Fitted Sheets - Chevron Grey - Natural Seagrass Moses Basket Fitted Sheet - Little Forest: A single 100% cotton fitted sheet in the Little Forest design, sized for a Moses basket. It lets you add a patterned sheet without buying a full pack, but check the size matches your basket before ordering.
Natural Seagrass Moses Basket Fitted Sheet - Little Forest - Value Pack | 3 Woolnest Fitted Sheets - Chevron Grey: Suitable for the Woolnest Moses Basket (70x35 cm) and contains three fitted sheets in Chevron Grey. The 70 cm length is designed for the Woolnest basket, so it will not fit a 69 cm Seagrass basket correctly.
- Value Pack | 3 Woolnest Fitted Sheets - White: Suitable for the Woolnest Moses Basket (70x35 cm) and contains three fitted sheets in White. White sheets show stains more readily but can be washed at higher temperatures if the care label allows; always check the label.
